Complimentary neck treatment when you book SkinPen precision microneedling

Skin tags are common, harmless skin growths that can develop anywhere on the body, most commonly on the neck, eyelids, underarms, groin, and under the breasts. They may be flesh-coloured, pink, or slightly darker and can vary in size from tiny tags to larger, more noticeable growths. At my clinic in Hawarden , I offer safe and effective skin tag removal treatments using advanced electrolysis and cryotherapy to restore smooth, healthy-looking skin with minimal discomfort and downtime.
Advanced electrolysis is a highly effective treatment for removing skin tags of all sizes quickly and precisely. During the procedure, a fine probe is used to deliver a controlled electrical current to the skin tag, instantly removing the growth while cauterising the blood vessels that feed it. This helps minimise bleeding and promotes efficient healing.
A local anaesthetic may be applied or injected, depending on the size and location of the skin tag, ensuring the procedure is as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Following treatment, a small wound may remain and can require a dressing for 1–2 days while healing begins.
As with any minor skin procedure, there is a small risk of scarring, particularly if the area becomes infected or the scab is disturbed during healing. Mild redness is normal and will gradually fade as the skin recovers. Full aftercare advice and post-treatment instructions will be provided during your appointment to support optimal healing and results.
Cryotherapy is a non-invasive skin tag removal treatment that works by freezing the stalk of the skin tag using extreme cold. This process cuts off the blood supply, causing the skin tag to darken, shrink, and naturally fall away over the following 2–6 weeks.
Unlike surgical methods, cryotherapy does not involve cutting or breaking the skin, making it a popular option with a low risk of scarring and no risk of infection from an open wound. During treatment, you may experience a mild stinging sensation, but the procedure is designed to be quick and comfortable.
After treatment, the area may appear red or slightly irritated for a few days, and a pale pink or red mark can occasionally remain visible for up to 8 weeks while the skin fully settles. Larger skin tags may require 2–3 treatment sessions spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. Extremely large skin tags may not be suitable for cryotherapy and could be better treated with electrolysis.
Multiple skin tags can often be treated during a single appointment lasting up to one hour, making treatment convenient and time-efficient. For larger treatment areas or a high number of skin tags, additional sessions may be recommended to achieve the best results safely and effectively.
During your initial consultation, I will assess your skin, discuss the most suitable treatment option for you, and create a personalised skin tag removal treatment plan, including an estimated number of sessions required and detailed aftercare guidance.
