Welcome to JL Clinical
Born and raised in Hawarden, I am proud to provide professional, nurse-led skin and wellbeing treatments within the local community I have always called home. JL Clinical was established in 2024 with a simple aim: to offer safe, ethical and personalised treatments in a welcoming environment where clients feel listened to, supported and cared for.
As the clinic has grown, I have moved into a dedicated private clinic room within my home in Hawarden. This allows me to offer greater flexibility, improved appointment availability and a calm, discreet setting where clients can feel comfortable discussing their concerns and goals.
Although the location has changed over time, my commitment to high standards of clinical care, professionalism and personal service remains exactly the same.
A Little About Me
Nursing is actually my second career. Before entering healthcare, I worked in risk management and IT, developing skills in problem solving, attention to detail and professional governance. In 2010, I made the decision to retrain as a nurse and went on to achieve a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Nursing in 2013.
Over the last decade, I have built extensive clinical experience within the NHS and primary care, with particular interests in:
- Primary Care Nursing
- Chronic Disease Management
- Women's Health, Ageing and Menopause
- Health Promotion and Wellbeing
I also hold the V300 Independent Prescribing qualification, allowing me to safely prescribe treatments within my scope of practice.
Why I Created JL Clinical
Throughout my nursing career, I regularly met people who were struggling with skin concerns that affected their confidence and wellbeing but were unable to access treatment through traditional healthcare services.
While many of these conditions were medically harmless, I could see the impact they were having on people's self-esteem, confidence and quality of life.
JL Clinical was created to bridge that gap by providing professional skin treatments and non-surgical skin rejuvenation in a safe, supportive and clinically led environment.
For me, treatment is about more than improving the appearance of the skin. It is about helping people feel comfortable, confident and happy in their own skin.
